Fiona Watson here.  I am an artist based in Oranmore, Co Galway in the heart of the Wild Atlantic Way. 

 

I have been painting for over 10 years.  I joined a therapy art group after a cancer diagnosis in 2010.  I started with watercolours.  I quickly moved from painting once a week in the therapy group to buying supplies and moving to oils.  I paint lots of female forms expressing freedom, love, aspiration, meditation and mindfulness.  I also paint animals, nature and a bit of Wild Atlantic Way Scenery.

 

I love the outdoors, fresh air and being social.  I enjoy travel and value experience over things.  I am a romantic who values love above everything else.  All there is.  Is LOVE.
